About

Hi, I am Marcus and welcome to my blog!

I hope to fill it with useful information and experiences of using and making technology work to help both my personal and professional life.

I have lived and breathed technology since as long as I can remember. I still have memories of a distant Christmas when I received an electronic translator! My first CD player and Commodore computer systems. Things have moved on since my days gaming on Atari and Sega consoles. Lets not forget the Amiga series either.

But I want to focus this blog on what I use each and everyday to get my work done. Along with enjoying the many varied and wonderful gadgets/apps we have been provided with for nothing more than pure enjoyment!

I am over on G+ if you would like to add me to your circles and check out my details. At the time of writing this about page I am 33 years old, married to a wonderful wife who detests technology and anything even remotely online. I think she got sucked into a time warp somewhere between 1850 and 1890 and dumped into a new millennium, it is the only explanation.

I also have 3 boys aged 15, 12 and 2. Quite a spread I know but it has been a blessing that is for sure. The older boys also love technology and allow me access to both the Xbox one and PS4! My younger son is more into building blocks and train sets for now which is equally cool.

I work as an electrical engineering manager, quite boring I know. But it means I have to boss people about a bit and get out away from your standard office quite a lot. I am a field based worker more than anything and use my tech to keep me connected and useful to my employers!

I am a massive fan of LTE or 4G if you prefer, it has made my life 100% better already. No email delays or files crashing half way through an upload.

This blog is not going to be a specification review type blog. I will not be listing every spec or feature relating to all the devices I use. It will purely be from a day to day users perspective and how I get the best from each device/service.

Just to put on record I don't receive any kind of reward for my opinions or comments, it is all my own honest opinion given freely.
